Weekend Wishlist

I haven't done a wish list, what i'm lusting after for a while, so thought I would do one today!

1. I've been after this Sleek blush palette for AGES now but I always forget to pick it up whenever I'm in Superdrug, definitely going to have to purchase it finally asap!

2. Been loving peplum too much these past few months, it's everywhere, but I particularly like this Nude 3/4 sleeve top from Lavish Alice. So simple yet so chic, I think the peplum style is so sophisticated and definitely turns a casual outfit more dressy!

3. Marc Jacobs Dot perfume, i love the cute packaging!
Marc Jacobs always has the best fragrances, and I just really want this!

4. Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer Kit, I've been lusting after this for ages, but I've always been put off by the price, as it's just a concealer. But, as it's something worn daily,
I think I'm definitely going to have to pick this up soon!

5. Origins Clear Improvement. I'm forever on the hunt for a good pore refining mask, anything that hides or draws out pores I'm right on it!
This had been on my radar for a while, and has been something I've wanted to try for a while.

6. Still wanting these Liberty print Nike blazers!
Love Nike blazers, and even more these ones from the collection.
I've seen so many on eBay that aren't in stores anymore, really want some grey and pink ones too!

Have you guys tried any of these products? Or own any blazers?

Hope you're all enjoying the weekend, and enjoying the Olympics! I missed the opening ceremony last night as I went out, but saw highlights today and it looked incredible!!

Tonight I think calls for brews and films in bed! Perfect.
Also, Weekend Wishlist, I'm going to make this a regular weekly thing :-)

Much love

Good morning lovelies! Hope you're all enjoying this bit of sun we are having in the UK! I love it. I managed to get a*slight* tan the other day, just a bit if colour. Yay!

So yesterday I went in to town (Manchester) with my cousin and did a bit of shopping, browsing, eating. It was far too hot to be lugging bags around! I picked up a few things...

Finally picked up a Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain(wow-long!) in Rendezvous. I swatched all the shades, and I liked this one on me the most. Really getting in to more orange shades lately.
Also picked up some little bits from MUA and a glitter Barry M polish! I also got some cleansers, toners, moisturisers, eyelash curlers.
The Blazer I had been after for ages, and finally got it from H&M, and the dress too, was only £3! Both H&M.
And, the sheer mint pastel blouse was a fiver from Primark. I love it!

And, here's my outfit what I wore yesterday, just a quick snippet whilst I was at my aunties. She's decorating, so excuse the background.

Can't wait to wear the dress & blazer, think it'll be Fridays outfit for when my other cousin comes to stay, I'm taking her out for a meal then going for drinks!

Anyway, I shall love you and leave you.
Hope you all have a fabulous day!

Much love

MUA Cosmetics are a cheap, extremely affordable drugstore brand. You'd think that with it being cheap as chips, that the products would reflect back on the price, but it's all really good quality, especially their eye palettes. The whole MUA collection starts at £1 and ranges to £8! I think that's rather fab. You can't really go wrong, and it's especially great if you just want a quick lippy for a quid, or eyeliner, a nail polish. Anything!

Anyway...
The lipsticks.
I bought these a while back, and like I said, for a quid, you can't say no really. I picked up shade 4, 14 and 16.

As you can see from the swatches, Shade 4 is a beautiful blue toned pink shade, it's definitely Barbie. At first look, you might think 'oh no it's too bright for me' however, it's not as bright as it seems when applied. It's very glossy, and not at all pigmented that much, it doesn't last that long, BUT as you can tell from my lips in photo number one, it does give a subtle glossy tint to your lips. For a pound, I don't mind, it's still a lip product I'll use!

Shade 16, or Nectar.
Another shade that screams and jumps out daring. Orange! I'd never usually think to wear a orange lip colour. But, this shade I just loved, I'm loving corals and pastels and had to pick this up. This shade is much more pigmentated, though you do have to build it up a lot to get a more noticeable colour. The finish again is glossy, which I do seem to be finding myself leaning towards these days, which isn't like me at all. I do like this lippy and is perfect for everyday wear.

Last shade for you is Shade 14 or Bare.
I have to admit I picked this one up on a whim and was a bit like 'ugh, why?!' though now, and these past few weeks, i'm glad I purchased it! This is the perfect everyday subtle lip colour if you don't want to branch out in bright pinks or corals. It's a very natural looking colour. I thought it wouldn't suit my skin tone at all but I have really been loving it. Unlike the other two I picked up, this one was easier to apply with being much more creamier, and not glossy at all, definitely more matte. I have found the lasting power to be so much more longer, and not having to keep reapplying, which is great.
Definitely my favourite from the bunch.

I'm definitely eager about the MUA lip liners launching in August!
For MUA products go to your nearest Superdrug store or you can go to their site here.

Have you tried MUA lipsticks? What's your favourite shade? What else do you like in the MUA range?

Much love

Top-Zara Leggings-Topshop Shoes- Primark

Hey lovelies, hope you're all having a fab Wednesday afternoon. Today we have an outfit post, the first in a while.

I was in Liverpool last week for my cousins birthday, and we went shopping. Oh my goodness. I love Liverpool for shopping, it's amazing. Especially the Illamasqua store! Just heaven. Definitely heading back soon.

So, I got this top from Zara whilst I was there. Just a simple batwing style, oversized which I love, and simple to style with leggings, skinny jeans & tucked in with a skirt.
The shoes, ah the shoes, the vectra replica definitely but at a tenner in Primark I definitely couldn't resist them could I?

Sorry about the slight wet hair, post shower pics, eeek!
Really loving my make up today, more minimal than usual, without eyeshadow on or foundation, but making a bold statement with bright lipstick. Taking of lipsticks, I'm so excited to buy the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains, definitely swaying for Lovesick and Cherish! Or all shades.

Anyway, I'm dying for a cuppa, so I shall love you and leave you.
Much love

Balance Me Pure Skin Face Wash

I really love Balance Me products so naturally I was eager to pick up last months Glamour with a Balance Me freebie! I opted for the cleanser, which I'm super glad I did now as I am in love with this product and I'm definitely buying it when this is close to running out.

I seem to harbour many cleansers, I don't know what it is I just love cleansers. This one though may just be a definite favourite. The product itself smells divine and even better that the brand are natural, free of parabens, sulphates, petroleum and much more other nasties, which is fab. I can't wait to purchase more from the brand. I'm definitely becoming more aware what's actually in products, and wanting to be more natural.

What I love and even still find a novelty is that it just dissolves onto your face, after you've massaged all over, voila it's dissolved. I love that. So easily amused. My face definitely seems to be loving this though as my skin has been good to me since I've been using this, no major break outs, which I did expect. But, nope, none!

Balance Me pure skin face wash retails for £16/125ml. Product above is 50ml.
Available from balanceme.co.uk , Waitrose and John Lewis. Full list of other stockists are featured on their website.

Have you tried anything from the balance me range? If so, what? Or what would you like to try?

Much love

Last Saturday I attended the Manchester night of the Nelly High Heels City Event tour. It was hosted at the ever so stylish and sleek bar Panacea on John Dalton Street. Such a great location. Panacea is a fabulous venue, though I'd only ever been to the Alderley Edge one,
this was my first time to the one in town.
Walking down the stairs, the first thing that you notice is the amazing array of gorgeous shoes dotted around the bar, the dance floor. It was like I'd died and gone to shoe heaven. I could have had them all. However, settling for just one is pretty good enough.
The first 150 guests to arrive get to choose their favourite shoe from the collection, to have, for free... Yes ladies that's right! How amazing?!
I took my wonderful Mum as my plus one (She wanted the shoes haha!)

My top three shoe choices were Gabriella, Kim and Weber. Of course, the studded flats are my first choice because they're to die for and i need them. My Mum's first choice was the mid heel named Jil.
I was expecting a much bigger turn out at the event than what we got, as having looked at previous cities the tour hosted it seemed much more buzzing, though with the fact it wasn't highly publicised this is probably why!
Though, regardless it was still a lovely night and fun too, especially trying on the OnePiece romper suits, which I did feel ridiculous in but it's all joke and laughter! Competitions were being held amongst the chatter and whilst drinks were flowing. At the end of the night, or whenever guests decided to leave, a goodie bag was given which contained products from Nelly's sponsors.

All in all, it was a fab experience, and getting a free pair of gorgeous shoes is pretty amazing, especially from Nelly as its such a unique brand, with such a wide collection of fashion and beauty items. You should definitely check out their website, if you haven't already!

Do any of these shoes take your fancy?
Did you attend the event in your city?

Much love
