current beauty and fashion wants

outfit and make up inspiration

Reading too many blog posts on certain products, or even discovering new products definitely has it's downfalls. That being the sudden drop of money leaving my bank account after accidently buying products I 'just had to have'. The downfalls definitely don't matter that much though, because hey at least I have pretty new stuff. Right? Though, I have to admit when reading reviews and posts on 'hyped up' products I definitely have to read atleast 20 different (slight exaggeration ) reviews just to make sure, after all, I don't want to spend my money on something that isn't what I expected, even though that does happen from time to time. I just love buying stuff. What girl doesn't?

Beauty
I've been needing to purchase another Rimmel Stay Matte powder for a while now since mine decided to break and crumble into pieces in my bag. Sob. Sob. Cheap and cheerful so a definite purchase ASAP. For the mean time I've been using a mix between my Maybelline Fit Me powder, My Avon one and my MUA one. All three are good, don't get me wrong, but I much prefer this gem, and the way it is on my skin.
Nars Laguna Bronzer is everywhere. Everyone seems to have this beauty, everyone except myself. This has been on my wishlist for months now and I can't even think why I haven't gone out and bought this yet. That will definitely soon be changing. This is a must have. After swatching a few weeks ago, and testing out, I fell in love.
After seeing Clinique's Moisture Surge Overnight Mask featured on Kate's blog (gh0stparties)  and then doing a bit more background research on the product (oo fancy!) I liked the idea and the sound of this. My skin is dull, to be quite frank. I love face masks especially overnight ones. I am itching to give this one a try. Clinique are a fabulous brand, even though the £28 price mark is a bit shit! Moving on to Barry M and their latest offering of a 'Hi Shine Gel Effect'. Now, I've never been a huge fan on Barry M nail polishes. Just me? Probably! Yeah, they have a few nice shades but they're not a brand I tend to gravitate towards for my Nail Polishes. However, these beauties, especially the shade above, well you can see for yourself it's beautiful. Everyone seems to be really impressed with the 'Gelly' range and I am dying to buy a few shades. Lately, I've been rather lazy when it comes to nails and just opting for a Mushroom coloured shades and barely livening it up and changing, like I used to. Next is the hugely popular Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette. Never getting my mitts on Naked 1 and 2, purely for the fact I found the palette inconvienient especially when I have my MUA ones which are practically the same. But, this small little palette of joy is smaller, more compact and easy for on the go. And with 6 wearable neutral shades, this is PERFECT for everyday. I need. Soap and Glory's Supercat Liner has been on my wishlist for quite some time now and to be perfectly honest I don't know why I still haven't purchased this, it's cheap and I wear eyeliner everyday, well the days I wear make up. There's nothing I love more than a perfect feline flick on my eyes.  Their Thick and Fast Mascara I have tried before and it was love when I first tried it out. Need need need. Lastly on the beauty bits and finishing with Soap and Glory's Fab Pore Hot Cloth Cleanser. There's so many different brands offering hot cloth cleansers, the popular one being Liz Earle's Cleanse and Polish, and I've never really tried them, so what better way to try with this little cute one from S&G. Well, it's not exactly little is it? But, the packaging is cute and that's definitely one of the biggest selling points for me. If anyone of you have tried this hot cloth cleanser, please do tell me your thoughts!

Fashion/Accessories
Spring is imminent which can only mean one thing. Pastel colours. I'm a sucker for pastel colours, whatever the season. And, I'm a big lover of cute knitted bright jumpers, just like this beautiful one from Topshop. I've seen an exact similiar one of this in H&M at pretty much half the price. I think they look so casual yet so chic with a pair of black skinny jeans and paired with some pretty flats, like the Leopard print slipper style shoes pictured. I've also seen the exact same shoes in H&M for £14.99. Ahhhh good old H&M. I love you. I am definitely picking those up, for sure.
The sunglasses are a must, they may not be Rayban (sigh!) but they are essential. You can definitely pick these up for cheap in Primark or H&M. Anywhere! Lastly, this bag. AH. Gorgeous. I own a lot of bags. A lot. However I don't own many black bags. Shocking. Black bags are always needed, and this bag reminds me a lot like the Alexander Wang Rocco bag. You can get so many great dupes on Ebay. I love love love the zip detailing and the fact it comes with a long strap too!

Okay so now I am lusting over all of these things, and wanting them all...
Currently I am fresh out of the shower, towel on my head and sipping green tea. I'm desperately trying to cut down on the caffeine. Let's see how long I last with this!

I hope you've all had a fabulous weekend, and a fabulous day.
Much Love

what i would wear:casual style

As much as I love dressing up in dresses and blazers, there's nothing more I love
than a casual yet Girly dressed down outfit. This is the type of outfit I'm usually in bar the Nike blazers, because sadly I still haven't got any, though I'm going to buy some soon,
because I just need them! The outfit is perfect for chilling in or going for coffee, shopping, everything, very street meets girly. I've got so many printed vintage tees, and I just love this coca cola one. Rather than finishing the outfit with a leather jacket I think the denim one gives it a more softer and playful look to it. Of course, added in there is the hairbow as I adore shoving them in my hair, especially on bad hair days!

The tan Marc Jacobs bag, which by the way is just gorgeous, again adds to the outfit being very cute and not making it too edgy by being black. I think by wearing the
Crush JBK Revlon spices the outfit up as a whole, and livens it up,
rather than playing it safe with a blue toned pink lip shade.

I love both pairs of these Nike Blazers. I want them like so bad!
Anyone want to buy both of them for me? Haha!
Yep I definitely love this outfit!

Hope you've all had a lovely weekend!
Much love

Weekend Wishlist

I haven't done a wish list, what i'm lusting after for a while, so thought I would do one today!

1. I've been after this Sleek blush palette for AGES now but I always forget to pick it up whenever I'm in Superdrug, definitely going to have to purchase it finally asap!

2. Been loving peplum too much these past few months, it's everywhere, but I particularly like this Nude 3/4 sleeve top from Lavish Alice. So simple yet so chic, I think the peplum style is so sophisticated and definitely turns a casual outfit more dressy!

3. Marc Jacobs Dot perfume, i love the cute packaging!
Marc Jacobs always has the best fragrances, and I just really want this!

4. Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer Kit, I've been lusting after this for ages, but I've always been put off by the price, as it's just a concealer. But, as it's something worn daily,
I think I'm definitely going to have to pick this up soon!

5. Origins Clear Improvement. I'm forever on the hunt for a good pore refining mask, anything that hides or draws out pores I'm right on it!
This had been on my radar for a while, and has been something I've wanted to try for a while.

6. Still wanting these Liberty print Nike blazers!
Love Nike blazers, and even more these ones from the collection.
I've seen so many on eBay that aren't in stores anymore, really want some grey and pink ones too!

Have you guys tried any of these products? Or own any blazers?

Hope you're all enjoying the weekend, and enjoying the Olympics! I missed the opening ceremony last night as I went out, but saw highlights today and it looked incredible!!

Tonight I think calls for brews and films in bed! Perfect.
Also, Weekend Wishlist, I'm going to make this a regular weekly thing :-)

Much love

Outfit Wishlist

Outfit Wishlist

Hi guys! Super sorry about the lack of posts, though it's only been a week it's felt like so much longer. The past few days have been quite crazy and I haven't really been home, so haven't had the opportunity to post! So I thought I'd post a little outfit Wishlist for you all today.

You all know how much I love pinks and corals, the girly and feminine collared tops I just adore! Paired with studded shoes and a biker jacket to toughen the sweet and innocent look up. Girly grunge is always the look I'm after. I need these jeans in my life!

Oh oh oh Michael Kors I love you, I want this watch way too much.
 Birthday gift anybody?
Topshop whimsical is being purchased next week, and of course THAT Zara bag, that is on my birthday wishlist, which I am most definitely getting!

I just love this whole look.
I want it all in my wardrobe now!
Can't stop swooning ahhhhh!

Hope you all have a fabulous Friday!
Cannot believe its Friday already though, how fast?!
Days are going quick!
I swear I always say this, but it's true!

Much love

Current Wishlist

Untitled #31
Hello beauties!
Got a little beauty wishlist for you today, just a few products I'm yearning for. I've put some of these on a list I've handed to my lovely Mother for my birthday, which is in 27 days ;)!

1. Estée Lauder Invisible Fluid
I think this has featured on a wishlist I've done previously. Yep, still haven't purchased it :( I do want to, just keep umming and aahing over it, you know when you're just like 'Do I Don't I?'
But, I love this, so I'm going to have to bite the bullet and go for it!

2. Shu Uemura pore clarifying cleansing oil.
After receiving a sample of this in the Harrods Glossybox I instantly fell in love with it. The way it melts your make up off so effortlessly and delicately just made me smile and like wow, I still need this in my life!

3. Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel Bronze.
I've been wanting this for a good while now, after testing my friends out I thought it was just amazing and i've lusted over it ever since! Birthday money spend I think maybe?!

4. Benefit bronzer/highlighting duo.
I already have a similar one to this, but you can never have too many right?
I actually own a ridiculous amount of highlighters, but I just love how pretty the packaging is, all pink and cute! Yes, that's right buying a product just for the packaging. I'm sad!

5. Benefit the porefessional primer.
I think this has been on everyone's radar in recent weeks, and it's certainly on mine. I love primers, and this one minimizes the appearance of pores too? Even better! I'm always on the hunt for pore minimizer products and have yet to find a product that I truly love. Any of you lovely ladies have any recommendations?

6. Mac CremeBlend Blush 'So Sweet So Easy'
Love cream blushes so naturally this has to be featured on my list. And, it's mac too. I love this shade, as you know me I love my bright pinks!

7. Philosophy Purity Cleanser.
Everyone are familiar with Philosophy,I love their packaging too much and I've been desperate to try something from them, and thought maybe a cleanser would be a good starting point. Formulated to cleanse, tone and melt away all face and eye make up in one step, amongst other stuff they claim to do. I like the sound of it!

8. Mac Lipstick
I am *pretty* sure this is the 'Cockney' shade... Yes?
Anyway, I love this and I want it. I'm going to get it!

9. L.I.L.Y by Stella McCartney Perfume.
This is gorgeous! I love the bottle too, it's really pretty. I never buy perfume for myself, I always receive them off other people for presents! And well, it
is my birthday coming up, presents... this please!

I am now going to get ready
(yes, being off work makes it okay for me to be lazy ;)!)
but first, I need a cuppa!

Hope you're all having a fabulous Thursday!
Just realised its a bank holiday weekend too, aw yay! :)

Much love

Topshop Wishlist

topshop

So I was just browsing on the Topshop website a few days ago, lusting over everything. Seriously I think I love every item, every product, just absolutely everything Topshop own and sell, I love! Anyway, these few bits and bobs I really do love...

The Lemon blazer is gorgeous, and is massively on trend with the pastel colour. I think it's such a fun, loving colour and perfect for summer. Though, even if the weather is dull and depressing you can just add this blazer to your outfit and it can instantly brighten you up. I think it'd look fab with a floral dress, the jeans and tshirt featured, even a pair of culottes and a nice top!
The denim zip bralet is something that has been on my wishlist for so long now. I was pretty gutted that I didn't snap it up straight away, I'm pretty certain that they're no longer selling these beauties now, but eBay is rather amazing if you ask me. Topshop are fab for bralets though, currently there are lots of floral ones! Love love love!

I've seen a lot of girls wearing the dip hemmed skirts and I think it's really tasteful and pretty, and super girly and I really want this pleated one. Perfect for a night out, teamed with a bralet, wedges and a biker jacket!

Really loving the peppermint 'Jamie' jeans. I don't own enough jeans. I went off jeans and just stopped wearing them for so long, I'd say like 3 years, however I've now introduced them back
into my wardrobe and these are just perfect.
The tee is just simple, printed and just screams my name.

Been after these lipsticks for ages.
Really love Powder Room, Coy and Clueless. I need them in my life.
And the ring, well it's pink, need I say more?

Pay day soon! I need to treat myself! :)
Much love

Coral Love

.
Really loving coral and orange at the moment, such a pretty, feminine colour and with spring in the air, (though it does feel like summer!) Coral's a fab colour to be wearing, whether it be clothes, make up or accessories!
The Topshop pleated mini shirt dress is so lovely and I need to get my hands on it! Style it with a pair of brogues or flats. Or wedges! Though, I tend to just stick to flats as I'm not a great walker in heels, I do try! Also loving the Wildfox jumper with the stars and stripes emblem, SO cute. I love jumpers. Even in the hot weather, I find myself just looking for them. So easy to wear, stick them with a pair of leggings, riding pants, maybe even pinky coral jeans if you like colour clashing !

Amazing weather once again today. I've literally done nothing today. Just, sunbathed in the garden, listening to my iPod. I've caught the sun a bit. Still pale though. Definitely going to have to invest in some fake tan. I've always just embraced my paleness however now,
I don't like it, at all!

Was invited to the Glossybox Caudalie event tonight in Covent Garden, which I would have LOVED to go, however, living in the North West & only finding out 2 days prior isn't good, as train tickets are sky high :( Sad face indeed! So wish I lived in London! I love London too much. Manchester/Cheshire is great and all, but to live in London would be just the best.

Right okay, going off on a tangent there, hope
you're all enjoying this glorious sun!

Rebekah xoxo
(and my pale legs in the sun today!)
